Refund policy

If the programme is not right for you, how to get your money back, and what happens when you do.

Version 2026-08-25

The short version

If you ask within 15 days of the programme starting, you get a full refund, no reason needed. After that, we will still talk to you.

Cohort programmes

For a programme that runs as a cohort with a start date, the 15-day window runs from the cohort's first day — not from the day you paid — so that nobody is penalised for enrolling early. If you ask for a refund before the cohort starts, you receive one in full.

After the 15-day window, refunds are at our discretion. Write to us. Grief does not respect schedules, and if something in your life has made the programme impossible, we would rather hear from you than hold you to a date.

Self-paced courses

For a course you work through at your own pace, the 15-day window runs from the day of purchase.

Facilitator training

The same 15-day window applies from the training's start. Because a certificate is issued on completion, no refund is given once a certificate has been issued.

How to ask

Email [contact email to be confirmed] from the address on your account, saying which purchase you mean. You do not have to give a reason. We aim to reply within two working days.

What happens when a refund is made

The money goes back to the card or method you paid with, through Stripe, which processes payments for us. Stripe usually shows it within five to ten working days, depending on your bank.

Your access to what you bought ends when the refund is processed. Your own writing — reflections, your story — is unaffected; it is yours and it stays.

If a refund is made by mistake, or a payment is disputed with your bank instead of refunded by us, access ends in the same way. If a dispute is later resolved in our favour, access is restored.

Hardship

If cost is the reason you cannot continue, please say so. A refund is not the only answer we have.
